Daiichi Life Marubeni Real Estate Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is committed to enhancing management quality and protecting personal information in compliance with the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as "the Personal Information Protection Act") and other relevant laws and regulations.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company will use collected personal information only within the scope of the purposes of use that have been clearly indicated, notified, or publicly announced in advance, or within a scope reasonably related to those purposes.
If the purpose of use is to be changed, the Company will obtain the prior consent of providers of personal information(Herein after referred to as “ Proveiders”) .
Purposes of use include:

  • 1. For business management, risk management, and related operations
  • 2. For market research and other surveys and studies
  • 3. For conducting sweepstakes, campaigns, etc.
  • 4. For providing information about seminars, lectures, etc.
  • 5. For concluding and executing contracts with Proveiders as business partners, managing contracts, and necessary communications
  • 6. For analyzing Proveiders as business partners
  • 7. For implementing measures to build and maintain smooth relationships with Proveiders as business partners and providing various conveniences
  • 8. For providing information and necessary communications regarding meetings and events organized or attended by the Company or affiliated organizations
  • 9. For activities related to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
  • 10. For providing company information and necessary communications to job applicants and prospective employees
  • 11. For concluding and executing contracts including the provision of products and services, managing contracts, necessary communications for product/service delivery, and providing information related to products, services, and other business activities
  • 12. For responding to inquiries and feedback

2. Types of Personal Information Collected and Retained

The personal information collected and retained includes name, address, date of birth, gender, occupation, and other information necessary to achieve the purposes of use stated above.

3. Collection of Personal Information

When collecting personal information, the Company will specify the purpose of use and collect the information by clearly indicating, notifying, or publicly announcing it to the Proveiders in advance.
If sensitive personal information is to be collected, the Company will obtain the individual's consent before doing so.

4. Provision of Personal Information

The Company will not provide personal information to external parties except in the following cases:

  • 1. When the Proveider has given consent
  • 2. When required by law
  • 3. When shared use is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act
  • 4. When outsourcing part of operations within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  • 5. Other cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act

5. Shared Use of Personal Information

The Company may share collected personal information as follows:

Items of personal data to be shared:
Company name, department, title, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, etc.
Scope of shared users:
The Company, its parent company, and subsidiaries or affiliates
Purpose of use by shared users:
Same as the purposes of use stated in Section 1, related to the business of the Company group
Entity responsible for managing shared personal data:
Marubeni Corporation

6. Management of Personal Information Protection

The Company strives to maintain accurate and up-to-date personal information and implements organizational, human, physical, and technical safety management measures to protect personal information, reviewing them as necessary.
The Company also promotes proper information management through its Compliance Committee and engages in initiatives to protect personal information.

Organizational safety management measures:
Appointment of a personal information manager responsible for handling personal data, establishment of internal management systems, and reporting/communication structures
Human safety management measures:
Provision of confidentiality clauses regarding personal information in work regulations and awareness-raising activities
Physical safety management measures:
Access control to buildings and floors where personal data is handled, and restrictions on usable devices
Technical safety management measures:
Implementation of access controls to limit the scope of person who handle the personal information and the databases handling personal information

7. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, or Deletion of Retained Personal Data

If a request is made under the Personal Information Protection Act for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of retained personal data, the Company will confirm the identity of the requester and respond promptly unless there is a special reason such as significant disruption to regular business operations.
